They were at the top of the waterfall where the water flows over the edge. "This is so relaxing, you know geting a chance to get away from the fans for a while, but I miss demi." "Yea im fine I just have to get my neacklace." Emily says reaching out to get it but the current picked up and got stronger and pushed it closer to the edge. " EMILY JUST LEAVE IT!" Selena yelled at Emliy. "I'll br fine" Emily shouted over her shoulder as she went to grabethe neacklace, but a fish hit her foot causing her jump and scream. "WHAT!" Selena screamed , but Emily started laughing. "A fish hit my foot."Emily said trying to hold in her laughter. But her neacklace was now at the edge hanging on a rock that hung over the edge of the waterfall. Emily waked towards the edge but Selena stoped her. " EMILY YOU CAN FALL!" Selena yelled. Emily reached for her neacklace but the current got stronger and knocked her of her feet and she fliped over the edge of the waterfall but she grabed the edge and held on. "SELENA! HELP!" she screamed as selena jumped of the rock and ran over to her carefuly making sure not to fall to. But Emily was sliping "SELENA IM SLIPING!" Emily screamed. Just as Emily was gonna slip Selena grabed her arm. " Don't let go!" Emily begged crying. " I WON'T " Selena reasured her. All of Emily's wheight was pulling her down and soon Emily and Selena both heard a loud crack and Emily let out a loud scream in pain of her now broken arm. "YOUR SLIPING!" Selena screamed. "I-I-I can't!" Emily said crying and shaking her head no. " What? NO! just hold on!" Selena demanded. But Emily keept shaking her head no and her hand sliped out from Selena's grip. Here is part two! Still Jade s pov I hung up and threw the phone as far as I could. Thats when I realized, why should I be scared?! Why should I let my own father rip our family to pieces!?!?! I stared to ge mad. How could he do this!?!?! Why! Why me! I shouldn't be afraid! I should be pissed! Ad now I am! I'm sick of this! I'm eighteen! I heard my phone ring. It didn't take me long to find it, I looked at the caller ID, Alice. "Hello..." "Jade! Get you butt back here right now!" "What about Joe .." "He left... He went to find you." "I don't want him to get lost too!" "We couldn't stop him. I just realized somthing, isn't it raining?" "Ya, really hard." "Your gonna get sick!" "Sorry MOM! there isn't exacatlly shelter arou- A CAVE!" I ran into it and made myself comfy. "Ok there are SOME things around here I can use for shelter." "Hey, Jade somone is on my other line, I'll be right back." I heard the line switch. I started shivering. It was freezing. The line switched back. "Jade?" "Ya?" "Joe is in some woods. He wants you to yell or somthing." "Um..ok..." I put the phone on mute. "JOE!" I heard his name echo through the forest about 3 times... I stood up and walked out of the cave into the pouring rain. "JOE!" It once again echoed throught the forest a few times. I went over to my phone. "Alice? switch the lines again and see if Joe heard that." "Ok! hold on." Click! I held the phone in my hands waiting to hear Alice's voice. But instead I saw a blank screen. "Your kidding me." I wondered out loud My phone died. Just great! I decided to yell one more time "JOE!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. I started shivering again, I was soaking wet. When I started to loose hope I heard a faint call. "Jade..." My heart skipped a beat. "JOE!?!?!" Joe s pov "JADE!" I yelled as loud as I could. "Alice! She isn't here!I can't hear anything!" "Joe, I think her cell phone died!" I hung up. Great, just great! "JADE!" I waited a few seconds and heard exacatlly what I wanted to. "Joe?" I looked around and saw far off in the distance a figure standing by a cave looking around. Finally! I took off running towrads her and didn't say a when I got to her. I just hugged her. I looked at her. "Don't EVER do that again." I said between laughter She smiled "Joe, unless you want to get hypothermia (sp?) we should probably head home." "It took me an hour to find this place! We are not going home! Not now!" I heard a clap of thunder and jumped. "Agreed. Lets go in this cave." We went inside the cave, luckily it wasn't small at all. Two elephants could probably fit into it. After about five minutes we both started to shiver. "We should probably make a fire." Jade said "There is lots of wood in the back of the cave." "Ok." I said About 10 mins later We had a strong fire going. We were both sitting around it trying to get dry and warm. "Jade..." "Ya?" she looked at me curiously "When you ran off Matt saw you..." "Oh...What did he say?" "He told me about your dad..." "Oh.." She got up and walked to the back of the cave. I followed her "I'm sor-" "Please don't say I'm sorry." She looked at me with tears in her eyes " That's all I ever hear, my dad is the person who made me who I am..." She laughed "Stubborn, emotionally-strong, most of the time" she laughed again then her face turned grim "But he also tore down my confidence, made me feel worthless, my mom was happy to see me leave for collage so I wasnt being hurt anymore..." She looked at me, "Bitter-sweet isn't it." A single tear rolled down her cheek, I wiped it away. "You don't deserve that..." I said, "No one deserves that. Jade you need to tell somone..." "No!" She snapped at me. I was very surprised and she obviously saw that on my face, she covered her mouth with her hand. "I'm sorry... I just don't want to get hurt..." I saw the agony behind her eyes [lol sound familiar! ;)] "I won't let him hurt you, I won't let anyone hurt you. I can tell you right now me, Nick, and Kevin would kill just about anyone who set a finger on any one of you girls." I chuckled and hugged her, she put her head on my chest and I kissed the top of her head. She pulled away slightly and looked at me with a questioning look on her face. "I'm sorry." I said quickly "Don't be." She smiled and put her head on my chest again. Then as if on cue, my cellphone started ringing, I sighed and answered it. "Hello?" "Joe! Where the hell are you!" "Relax Kev!
