 | STORY: United in grief, some of India's best known arts and entertainment figures gathered in the eastern Indian city of Kolkata to remember the victims of the Mumbai attacks. The group sang songs and lit candles in memory of the 183 people who died and the many who were wounded when Islamist gunmen lay siege to a string of landmark sites in the city. Singer Usha Uthup urged Indians of all religions to remain united in the face of terrorism. [Usha Uthup, Indian Pop Singer]: "I only hope that what has happened doesn't divide us Indians in the society. You see, I feel that terrorism has no religion. Terrorism is terrorism." Movie director Aparna Sen said she feared for the country. [Aparne Sen, Indian Film Director]: "Action is needed and the priority as I have been saying is oneness, solidarity and unity. If we want peace we have to be Indian." Many of the buildings targeted in the attacks are frequented by celebrities - Mumbai isn't just India's financial capital, it's also the heart of Bollywood, the country's prolific film industry. In the aftermath of the three-day siege, several film shoots were cancelled in Mumbai. The film industry is still reeling from a two-month old strike, costing millions of dollars in lost revenues The terror attacks are predicted to hit the industry even harder as wary audiences stay away from theaters.
