When Kassi was called up, she took her position before giving Joe a small wink and began demonstrating her true passion.She performed some hiphop dance, step and finished off with some ballet. Joe watched her everymove not taking his gaze off of her. "She's amazing isnt she?" Someone asked, he felt the person sit next to him.  | Its a funny thing, to lose someone who is still alive. In a way it is worse, to have to look at their lifeless face every day knowing that their situation was such that you would never be able see the twinkle in their eyes or hear them say "I love you" again. I knew this all, I knew Ryan would never be fully himself again, and yet I couldnt let go, I wouldn't. He was all I had, he was my rescue. Now I wanted to be his. Ryan's case of PTSD was bad, one of the worse, causing his personality to be close to the exact opposite of his last one. He flinched at noises, winced at the slightest touch. He screamed at slammed doors and couldnt eat food that was too hot. He never smiled and his eyes were forever locked on one point of the ceiling, just above his head. He was empty. If he hadnt been able to feed and move himself, I would have thought he was a vegetable, with little chance of awakening from their never ending sleep. Then again, Ryan was supposed to get better, doctors promising some recovery,but all remindingus that it would never be a full recovery in his case. Regardless, I soon became an every day visitor in the Thomas household, taking care of my boyfriend as much as his mother and sister did. I had to. I loved him, or what had been him. My mindfrAme was, at the time, that Ryan was all I had. But I always had had a knack for overlooking things.
