The Doors: My Eyes Have Seen You, Live At The Matrix 1967 (2008)

The Doors performance of "My Eyes Have Seen You" Live At The Matrix Club, San Fransisco 1967 The pictures are from The Doors concert At Winterland Arena December 28 1967 Available on The "Live At The Matrix" album, released 11/18/2008. "It was early 1967 and The Doors were about to enter The consciousness of The nation. And this is The way it sounded! - Ray Manzarek, from The set's liner notes Just weeks before their second single, Light My Fire, began its ascent to The top of The charts, The Doors played a two-night stand At The Matrix a small San Francisco nightclub owned by The Jefferson Airplane's Marty Balin. The place was nearly empty both nights, so Jim Morrison, John Densmore, Robby Krieger, and Ray Manzarek took a rare opportunity to improvise and experiment. The 2-CD set Live At The Matrix The latest in The acclaimed series of previously unreleased Doors concerts from Rhino and Bright Midnight Archives, presents over two hours of music from these fabled performances, recorded on March 7 and 10, 1967 While recent Live Doors titles from Rhino and Bright Midnight Have spotlighted The band's final tour before Morrison's death, Live At The Matrix reaches back to their earliest days - and to shows that Have been widely bootlegged but never officially issued. The new collection - featuring cover art by legendary San Francisco artist Stanley Mouse - was restored and meticulously mastered from first-generation tapes acquired by Elektra Records and The Doors 40 years ago. This is probably The closest we've come to a true document of The Doors without constraints, says Bruce Botnick, The album's producer and The band's longtime co-producer and engineer. On Disc One, The band performs much of its self-titled 1967 debut LP, released only two months prior to The Matrix shows. Highlights include expanded versions of The End and Back Door Man, Alabama Song (Whisky Bar), Break On Through (To The Other Side) and Allen Toussaint's Get Out Of My Life, Woman, which has never appeared on any previous Doors albums. Disc Two offers a glimpse of The band mapping out its future, working out early versions of several songs from upcoming albums: "Crawling King Snake" (LA Woman); "Summer's Almost Gone" (Waiting For The Sun); and nearly half of The songs from The Doors second album, Strange Days. Live At The Matrix continues Rhino's upgrade and expansion of The Doors catalog that began in honor of The 40th anniversary of their self-titled 1967 debut album." Why Did You Leave Me? {A Joe Jonas Love Story} Chp.21 part 2

I looked right into his eyes, looking for some sympathic atleast. But nothing. Only anger. JOE you shut your dam mouth. Never talk to me like that again!* why so you can continue TRYING to run my life?!* I snapped back. *No, JOE I only want for what is the best for you I don't want you dating someone having an on and off relationship every few months. I want you to be happy!* *If it wasn't for this fricken career, nothing would have ever happened! Everything comes back to the band! And you know what? I'm sick of it!* *What is that supposed to mean?!* I looked around, to kevin nick mom, frankie, big rob, and finally back to Dad. *I...QUIT!!!!* JOE you don't mean that..* I laughed bit. *Yes, I really do. I'm done being a JONAS Brother. Let Frankie in the band. Do whatever you want! I'm done with being famous, I'm done with running away out of breath from fans, I'm done playing concerts, I'm done leaving my LOVE ones behind..I'm finished.* I walked away off the bus. JOE . JOE !* I continued walking and shutting the door behind me I stood there knowing if I did the right thing. I walked farther out and turned around, facing the bus. JONAS brothers was written across it with a picture of all for of us. Fan signing all over it. Am I really leaving my dream for some girl? Yeah, I really am. I looked up into the sky and walked. It had to be and hour when I found a bus stop. I sat on the bench and waited. People walked by and asked for autographs. I denied it. *No.* They shot me dirty looks and left. *What a jerk..what happened to the old JOE * One girl said to the other. *I don't know...I miss him...* They both walked off, looking back every few seconds. I must have fallen asleep when bright lights shined in my eyes. I blinked quick. I looked around. It was still light out which means it was pretty early. Maybe around 5. I rubbed my eyes and joined the coach bus leading to Wyckloff. I stumbled down the line with gasps and screams. I kept a straight-face the whole time and luckily found a seat empty. A random girl hopped in next to me and hugged me She looked up at me The girl had to be around 7. *Didn't your mommie ever tell you not to touch strangers? Mine did So I would appreciate it if you don't do that again and choose a different seat.*Just before I looked back out the window, I caught tears crashing againest her cheeks. *I'm sorry...T-That's the last time I ever want to see you again!!* She got up and ran back to he r mom. I sighed. *I don't know what to do anymore...I'm sorry...* I mumbled, pressing my head againest the window awaiting to arrive to Wyckloff. After 30 minutes, I got bored so I placed my headphones in and listened to my iPod. Luckily, I had it on me just before I left! I scrolled through the list and picked one. My favorite one. "Beautiful Love".I know it's kind of weird to listen to but it always relaxed me when I wasn't feeling great. I heard the seat next to me make a squeak. The little girl came over again and sat next to me Still as a statue. I turned towards her but she looked straight, at the seat. *Hey...I'm sorry what I said to you before. I was in a bad mood.* The little girl looked up at me and smiled. *Is it a girl?* I chuckled. *How do you know?* She giggled and kicked her feet. *One, your listening to "Beautiful Love", you re acting all sad, and...that's what my mommie said.* Is it really that loud? Wow... *Well...Your mommie is right; it is a girl. But, a very special girl who means the world to me * She twiddled her fingers. *Is it Demi?* I sighed and shook my head. The girl placed her hands on her cheeks and opened her mouth. *What's her name?* I looked out the window for a minute, then back at the girl. *Courtney...Courtney Gibbins...* She smiled. She kicked her feet once more and looked at me *What?* I said, laughing. *I know her. I've seen her everyday...* What? How could that be possible? I frowned. *She misses you very much, JOE but doesn't know how to tell you in a conversation. you ll see her soon and remember to tell her what you told kevin * I jumped. How did she know what I told kevin *It's the only way you can truly get her back. Also, tell her why you dated Demi. Not because you loved her, but because you needed something to help you get over Courtney.* My heart started pounding and my hands got sweaty. I was terrified. My iPod slipped out of my hands and dropped to the floor. I picked it right away but when I looked back in the seat next to me the girl was gone. I jumped into the alle and found no little girl with red hair, a white jacket, white pants, and white socks on with a white hat. Wait.. did I just talk to an...angel? ------------------------------------------------ chapter 22 SOON. lol. hehe. leave FEEDBACK. not just 'more more more' and 'awesome.' even though I do LOVE getting those, tell me what you thought about the chapter

Rihanna - Rehab HQ

Baby Baby When we first met, I never felt something so strong You were like my lover and my best friend All wrapped into one with a ribbon on it And all of a sudden you went and left I didn't know how to follow It's like a shock that spun me around And now my heart's dead I feel so empty and hollow And I'll never give myself to another the way I gave it to ya (to ya) Don't even recognize the ways you hurt me, do ya (do ya)? It's gonna take a miracle to bring me back And you are the one to blame And now I feel like - ooh! You're the reason why I'm thinking I don't wanna smoke on these cigarettes no more I guess that's what i get for wishful thinking Should've never let you enter my door Next time you wanna go on and leave I should just let you go on and do it 'Cause now I'm using like I bleed It's like I checked in to rehab And baby, you're my disease It's like I checked in to rehab And baby, you're my disease I've gotta check in to rehab 'Cause baby you're my disease I've gotta check in to rehab 'Cause baby you're my disease Damn, ain't it crazy when you're loveswept You'd do anything for the one you love Cause anytime that you needed me, I'd be there Its like you were my favorite drug The only problem was that you was using me In a different way that I was using you But now that I know that it's not meant to be You gotta go, I gotta wean myself off of you And I'll never give myself to another the way I gave it to ya (to ya) Don't even recognize the ways you hurt me, do ya? Hollywood Undead - City with lyrics

*LYRICS* Let's watch it burn Let's watch it burn Let's watch this city burn the world Let's watch this city burn From the sky over top the world Til there's nothing left of her Let's watch this city burn the world watch things turn to ash With two empty cans of gas The only evidence they have Is the police catch on my mask And its hardly time to ask If you can save my heart for last And its hard to face the facts When the darkness fades to black It's not just make beleive When they make me take a seat And they put amphetamines in the air and make me breath So come on and grab your children Look out for burning buildings And civillians who perish they kill them by the million And billionss of people die For a lost cause So now I pray for my nation thats destroyed under god (it's the end of the world) All my battles have been won But the war has just begun Let's watch this city burn From the sky over top the world Till there's nothing left in her Let's watch the city burn away The city looks so pretty Do you wanna burn it with me? Till the skies bleed ashes And the f**kin sky crashes We make ashes just with matches To ignite the flame And all the hopes of a young teen F**kin insane stays the same Take the pill And go get drunk And go get killed Double dose Acid life and acid death Breathing till there is no breath I will not die in the night but in the light of the sun and the ashes of this world in my lungs But who am I to say Lets all just run away Go grab your friends and pray We're gonna rule the world today (it's the end of the world) it's the end of the earth We've been done since our birth Let's watch this city burn From the sky over top the world Till there's nothing left in her Let's watch the city burn the world (Let's watch it burn)X2 The city looks so pretty do you wanna burn it with me? The city looks so pretty do you wanna burn it with me? The city looks so pretty do you wanna burn it with me? We use the trees as torches (Do you wanna burn it with me?) dot the streets with corpses (Do you wanna burn it with me?) we watch the city f**kin bleed (Do you wanna burn it with me?) and Bring the world to its knees (Do you wanna burn it with me?) Let's watch this city burn From the sky over top the world Til there's nothing left in her Let's watch this city burn the world Let's watch this city burn From the sky over top the world Til there's nothing left in her Let's watch this city burn the world Let's watch it burn Let's watch it burn Let's watch this city burn the world

My Sugar Gliders Roaming in their Empty Cage

My two standard gliders (breeding pair) are roaming around in their cage while I am washing their fleece. They're pretty mad because their daddy accidently dropped the bottom off the cage and it scared the crap outta them. Watch them do back flips, they're so funny!

The Doors: People Are Strange, Live At The Matrix 1967 (2008)

The Doors performance of "People Are Strange" Live At The Matrix Club, San Fransisco 1967 Available on The "Live At The Matrix" album, released 11/18/2008. Survival.flv

Think there isn't any hope surviving a Tsunami? Think Again! I am a 1 person think tank and I am looking out for you! The Bubble is natures design, just like a womb it protects you from harm and has the least resistance contrary to the design of rafts. This isn't a garuntee save, but it might be your next best option. 1. Simplist approach: If immediately you see a Tsunami and there is no high ground, grab any empty plastic containers with a cap that will float, stuff them into your pockets or in your jacket and zip it up. 2. If you have some time like at least 20-40 minutes you can take a inflatable raft, fold it in half as a makeshift escape pod and use either duck tape or twine to tightly fasten it. Also use ideas suggested in # 1. 3. 20-40 minutes prep time or slightly more: You can combine 2 inflatable rafts, some have built in ropes you can use to remove the ropes and string both rafts together with the rope holes & rope. 4. If you have days or even a year you have lots of options to consider: Collect plastic containers with handles, string them all together to make a bubble you can climb into. Buying or collecting at least 8 beach balls in advance is good if you have them all aproximately the same size, you can then use shower curtains or stronger material maybe curtains and special apoxi glue. Having many inflatable balls surrounding you ensures that if one pops due to puncture from a tumble at last you have backups. You can also buy the materials you need to make your own bubble vessel from scratch using premium sheets of pvc plastic, infatable inserts and patch it altogether with apoxi resin. It's always helpful to have life jackets close by either in these vessels or on the beach. 5. I am interested in a portable body bubble, got one? lol -it might be freakishly called the "buddy body bubble " or reverse. 6. I want to say avoid beaches, don't live on the coast but it may be financially impractical or you might just have a certain situation that prevents you from moving. Also scaring you to move may help you overal but there are businesses that rely on you for their present survival -we don't need to upset the system, we just need to get smarter, be ready and protect yourself. The Bubble idea may protect you in other natural disaster situations, if one happens to you and you try any of these suggestions I hope you are able share your story here. The bubble in the video is commonly known as the zorb and it's use for entertainment down hills and on water is refferred to zorbing The zorb company wont make it for sale for any personal use and is only sold as part of their franchise. I hope any company will change their policy if they discover that their product has a potential to save thousands perhaps millions of lives.
