A mixture that uses the audio from the "Blood Diamond" trailer and only images from "Balto" and "Balto 2: Wolf Quest" in the same fashion of my previous "The Lion King Fountain". I tried challenging myself here and it was tough. Both movies are completely and utterly different (unlike "The Lion King" and "The Fountain", which shared some similar elements) and it was hard for it to fit, especially considering how the character roles are switched around (any idea how hard it is to make Steele look sympathetic?). What's with me lately and making vids about people dying! Good thing my next two videos are happy dancing videos! There is a story to this. Jenna and Balto are in love, and Rosey loves both of them like a kid should love her dogs. But Balto doesn't really belong because of his wolfness. one day Rosey gets sick, and Jenna thinks the sled dogs won't be able to get back in time. She doesn't think she can stand to watch Rosey die, so she wants to commit suicide. Balto tries to convince her otherwise, but he relizes the only way to stop her and save Rosey is to get the medicine himself. He ends up running into a bear on the journey, and Jenna saves him, but dies in the process. So this way she died with dignity. But Balto gets the medicine and is able to save Rosey. All of us Balto fans know that the US Balto DVD is a shame to look at, and even worse, it had no real special features. Lucky for a few other countries, they have a more presentable DVD for Balto, which has the widescreen format and also has the documentary. I ordered the UK copy of Balto (Region 2) not only because it was more presentable, but because it had the documentary. So for those of you who only have the pathetic US copy, here's the documentary. It contains information and history of the real Balto, and some Behind-The-Scenes footage of the 1995 movie.
