[--IMPORTANT NOTES--] -Yes, I AM aware that in the "Light Stroke 1" part, sometimes my hands are not directly on the light stroke. I INTENTIONALLY made it like that, just for the sake of a 3D effect. -In the lightsaber part, the rotation of the lightsaber in mid-air is somewhat unrealistic... I could've fixed it but the preview was loading way too slow, so I trusted my instincts that everything was ok. But it's not THAT bad. -In the "Lightning/TV" part, the text goes downwards to the bottom-left corner just so that it would be visible. If I left it in the top-left corner, it would'nt be so visible because of the white blinds and the text is... white. [--NOTES--] Ok. So this is a collection I made of some videos with awesome, added special effects. VERY surprisingly, this video took about 2 - 3 days to edit (I forgot, lol). Made using Adobe After Effects ONLY! Use Google to find info on it. Also use Google to find tutorials on Green Screen Techniques. There are loads out there. Most of the shots are static images that i split into two layers in Photoshop. In particular the city shots; i cut out the buildings i wanted the performer to hide behind and then placed them in separate layers in After Effects. The performer is sandwiched between them. All the camera moves were done in After Effects by Motion Sketching the whole composition. A wiggle expression on the Position key frames would work just as well. That's not me in the video, its my friend Dave. This was for my final year project at Staffordshire Uni. It was shot on a Canon XL2 It took about a two weeks to make, on and off. I didn't make this a big thing, just got out the camera, made up some stuff to say and added a bunch of effect to it. I am pretty happy with the outcome, although after the video was done I kept coming up with new ideas I could of added. Oh well, it is still ok. If anyone would like me to make a tutorial for a certain effect please comment the time it went on from, I might be able to help you through a text response or if it is detailed I will make a video tutorial on it. Total edited in After Effects was around 8-10 hours, and putting together in final cut pro (Wanted to test it out, rather than Premiere Pro) was around 1 hour.
