2000 2K Tier 2v2 WoW Arena Resto Druid / Mace Warrior vs. Restokin Druid / Rogue
I've been INCREDIBLY busy and pressed for time, but last night, after some Dreamstate Druid + Warrior games I switched back to my more "Traditional" Resto PvP build to finish off the evening (during which time we had some incredibly, epically long fights (but still nothing longer than the two hour and forty-seven minute match I endured during Season 3...)
In any case, I digress. :)
Both Resto Druid + Warrior and Restokin Druid + Rogue are incredibly common pairings in the upper brackets I have played (2000+), and since I run both pairings (and then some ... ), I thought it would be fun to make a video showing how one of my Partners and I handle such match-ups.
While I know some of you out there might be more interested in paritular combos, I would highly suggest that you not only expreience Arena with various partners and pairings (even if just for Skirmishes and the experience), but that you also look up and watch videos of various pairings to see how they handle each other because it will give you a better idea of how different teams "think."
Likewise: there's usually something you can take away with you to use in your own games. :)
Resto Druid + Warrior vs. Restokin Druid + Rogue is fairly evenly matched, but in my own opinion, is "slightly" in the Restokin Druid + Rogue's favor for the reasons I mention in the video.
While I don't have time at the moment to do voice commentary (sorry!), hopefully you guys will find the matches (there are two) entertaining. The pace of both fights was extremely fast so I chose not to add text/captions because it ended up obscuring/taking away from what was going on, and our reflexes and ways my Partner and I adapted to the fight are what really pleased me in these two particular fights. (Also: I apparently haven't uploaded but one other Resto Druid + Warrior match I've been a part of, and that was way back in the Middle of Season 3! Yipe!)
(If you have any tips of your own: I certainly welcome them! :) )
And to those that will complain that I occassionally click some of my spells (I know in this particular video I totally spaced out and forgot where my Demoralizing Roar hotkey was in the midst of all that was going on ... ): I've progressively weaned myself from clicking, over to keybinding, but that doesn't mean I don't revert to "old habits" now and then in the heat of battle. Just like everyone out there: I'm still ever-working on refining my gameplay. :) It takes time, but it's well worth it.
It's all a progression anyway, after all!
I hope others can learn from the tactics and my own mistakes. :)
