Ana Yali Bahibak (Nancy Ajram)

Nancy Agram (Arabic: ? ?) (born May 16, 1983) is a multiple award-winning Lebanese pop singer and dancer. She is best known for her studio albums, music videos, commercials and songs such as Akhasmak Ah, Ya Salam, Ah W Noss and Ya tabtab Wa Dalla. Ajram has sold over twelve million records in the Arabian world. Having sold over four million albums in Lebanon, Ajram ranks as the third best-selling female artist in Lebanese and Egyptian music history. Ajram is one of the richest Lebanese singers; her personal wealth, mostly earned from her high album sales and commercials, has exceeded $16 million. Ajram first came to fame as a winning member of the entertainment show Noujoum Al-Moustakbal ("Stars of the Future"), a Lebanese television musical competition, in mid-1990s, after which she produced two unsuccessful albums, Mihtagalak ("I Need You') in 1998, followed by Sheel Oyoonak Anni ("Take Your Eyes Off Of Me") in 2000. She subsequently emerged at the forefront of the pop music scene in the early 2000s, thanks to her third album, Ya Salam ("How Fantastic"), which was crafted by Lebanese producer Jiji Lamara. Her second album, Ah W Noss, was released the following year. In the early 2000s, Ajram's success as a singer led her to high-profile advertising deals, most notably for Coca-Cola, as well as Damas Jewelry. Her second and third albums were released during this era and included more artistic input that Ajram developed. In 2006, she confirmed on Akid Akid Maestro with Nishan Derharoutnionan that she is planning to marry next year, but has not named the groom.

Jimmy Eat World "The Middle"

Once a trailblazing name in the mid-'90s emocore scene, Jimmy Eat World steadily rose to national prominence by embracing a blend of alternative rock and power pop that targeted the heart as well as the head. While the band's influence widened considerably with 1999's Clarity -- an album that has since emerged as a landmark of the emo genre -- it was the band's self-produced follow-up (specifically the infectious single "The Middle") that crowned them as major figures in commercial rock. The emo label proved difficult to shake throughout the 2000s, even when subsequent albums Futures and Chase This Light did little to evoke the hard-edged sensitivity of Clarity, but Jimmy Eat World nevertheless remained a league above the generation of emocore torch-bearers they'd helped influence.

George Galloway 1/3/09 Truth About Israel

George Galloway Stop Gaza Massacre protest London Saturday 3 January 09 George Galloway (born 16 August 1954 in Dundee) is a British politician, author and talkshow host noted for his socialist views, confrontational style, and rhetorical skill. He has been a Member of Parliament (MP) since 1987 and currently represents Respect for the Bethnal Green and Bow constituency. He was previously a Labour Party MP for Glasgow Hillhead and for Glasgow Kelvin. Galloway is perhaps best known for his vigorous campaign to overturn economic sanctions against Iraq in the 1990s and early 2000s and to avert the 2003 invasion of that country. He made visits there in 1994 and 2002. As part of a speech in his 1994 visit in which Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein was in attendance, he said "Sir, I salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability",although Galloway has always stated that he was addressing the Iraqi people, and that he is not an admirer of Saddam. In his 2002 visit, as war talk and claims of weapons of mass destruction filled the airwaves, he said "we are determined that we are going to do everything we can to stop this rush over the cliff." He was later accused by a U.S. Senate Committee led by Norm Coleman of personally profiting from abuses of UN Oil-for-Food programme. He combatively countered the charges by accusing Coleman and other pro-war politicians of covering up the "theft of billions of dollars of Iraq's wealth... on your watch" that had occurred under a post-invasion Coalition Provisional Authority, committed by "Halliburton and other American corporations... with the connivance of your own government. He was expelled from the Labour Party in October 2003 when a party body decided that similarly strong statements he had made in opposition to the invasion had brought the party into disrepute. In January 2004, Galloway made his comeback as a founding member of Respect, a new political coalition to the left of Labour, in association with the Socialist Workers Party and other left-wing groups, anti-Iraq war activists such as Salma Yaqoob, and other figures on the British left such as film director Ken Loach. He won his seat in the 2005 general election, the first time Respect had contested a Parliamentary election. On 3 November 2007, the Socialist Workers' Party claimed that Galloway had announced he was splitting from Respect after an internal dispute.Galloway denied this, and together with Respect chair Linda Smith, Vice Chair Salma Yaqoob and sixteen other members of the National Council, issued an invitation to a Respect Renewal conference, organised on the same day and time as the scheduled Respect conference.. On 17 July 2007, Galloway was censured by the House of Commons Select Committee on Standards and Privileges, which recommended his suspension from the House for 18 days for "his unwillingness to cooperate fully with the Commissioner, and his calling into question of the Commissioner's and our own integrity [which] have in our view damaged the reputation of the House". In response, Galloway commented: "Once more and yet again I have been cleared of taking a single penny or in any way personally benefiting from the former Iraqi regime through the oil for food programme or any other means ... What really upset them [the committee] is that I always defend myself. On 23 July 2007, during a debate on the Committee's recommendation, Galloway was ordered out of the House of Commons by the Speaker after making repeated attacks on the integrity of officers of the House..

Joey Jordison vs. Lars Ulrich

Nathan Jonas "Joey" Jordison is an American rock musician. He is best known for his role as the drummer for the band Slipknot. He is also well known as the guitarist for Murderdolls, a glam metal/horror punk band which he founded in the 2000s, that is currently on hiatus due to the Murderdolls' members' main projects. As of 2007, he is also Black Metal band Gorgoroth's live drummer for the United States. In 2006, he was the drummer for the industrial metal band Ministry. For the most of 2007, Jordison took over the drumming duties for the nu-metal band Korn before going back to the studio to work on Slipknot's fourth studio album. In the summer of 2004 at Download Festival, Lars Ulrich of headliners Metallica was unable to perform with the band. Jordison stepped up and filled in for Ulrich. Joey played most of the set with Metallica. Lars Ulrich (born December 26, 1963) is the drummer and co-founder of Metallica. He was born in Gentofte, Denmark to an upper middle-class family. A tennis prodigy in his youth, Ulrich moved to Los Angeles, California at age seventeen to pursue his training, but instead of playing tennis, he ended up as a drummer. After publishing an advertisement in a local Los Angeles newspaper called The Recycler, he met James Hetfield and formed Metallica. Metallica is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1981.[1] Metallica has become one of the most commercially successful musical acts of recent decades, and are considered one of the "Big Four" pioneers of thrash metal, along with Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth.[citation needed] The band has sold more than 90 million records worldwide,[2][3] including 57 million albums in the United States alone[4][5], which makes them the most commercially successful thrash metal band of all time.[6] Slipknot (sometimes typeset as SlipKnoT to fit their logo) is a Grammy-winning American nu metal[1] band from Des Moines, Iowa. The nine-piece formed in 1996 and is currently signed to Roadrunner Records[2]/Nuclear Blast. German-based record company Nuclear Blast Records handles the record sales of the band in Scandinavia while Roadrunner handles the sales worldwide. Their albums and home videos have achieved platinum sales status.[1] The band's Grammy award nominations include Best Metal Performance, which their song, "Before I Forget", won after six successive years of nomination.[3]

Watchmen (2009) Movie Trailer

http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-3194540-10499730 Watchmen (film) Watchmen is a 2009 film adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' comic book limited series of the same name, directed by Zack Snyder. The film stars Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matthew Goode, Stephen McHattie and Carla Gugino. Set in 1985, the film follows a group of former vigilantes as war begins to break out between the United States and the Soviet Union. The film began shooting in Vancouver in September 2007 for release on March 6, 2009. Like his previous film 300, Snyder closely modeled his storyboards on the comic, but unlike 300, he chose not to shoot all of Watchmen using chroma key. Following the novel's 1986 publication, the film adaptation was mired in development hell. Producer Lawrence Gordon began developing the project at 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. with producer Joel Silver and director Terry Gilliam, the latter eventually deeming the complex novel unfilmable. During the 2000s, Gordon and Lloyd Levin collaborated with Universal Studios and Paramount Pictures to produce a script by David Hayter (who set it in modern times). Darren Aronofsky and Paul Greengrass were attached to Paramount's project, before it was canceled over budget disputes. The project returned to Warner Bros., with Paramount handling international rights. Fox is now suing Gordon for failing to pay a buy-out in 1991, which enabled him to develop the film at the other studios. A DVD based on elements of the Watchmen universe will be released; it will include an animated adaptation of the comic Tales of the Black Freighter within the story, starring Gerard Butler, and the documentary Under the Hood, detailing the older generation of superheroes from the film's back-story. An extended edition of the film, with Tales of the Black Freighter edited in a manner reminiscent of the comic, is also possible. Watchmen Synopsis The story is set in an alternate 1985 where superheroes exist, Richard Nixon is still president, and tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union are at an all-time high. The vigilante Rorschach is investigating the murder of a former hero, the Comedian, and uncovers a plot to discredit and murder various heroes. Rorschach discovers a far wider-ranging conspiracy involving his colleagues' past which could completely change the course of history. Watchmen Marketing DC Direct will release action figures based on the film in January 2009. Director Zack Snyder also set up a YouTube contest petitioning Watchmen fans to create faux commercials of products made by the fictional Veidt Enterprises. The film's first trailer was attached with The Dark Knight, and used The Smashing Pumpkins' song "The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning", an alternate version of their song "The End Is the Beginning Is the End". Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will publish two downloadable games during the theatrical and DVD releases. Deadline Games is developing the two properties. WB took this low-key approach to adapting the film to avoid rushing the game on this tight schedule, as most film games are panned by critics and gamers. These games are set in the 1970s, and are written by Len Wein, the comic's editor. Dave Gibbons is also an advisor. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchmen_(film)

Old Man's Child - Hominis Nocturna

Revelation 666: The Curse Of Damnation (2000, Century Media) For the recording of 2000's Revelation 666: The Curse Of Damnation, Galder recruited original OMC guitarist Jardar, as well as guest drummer Tjodlav. Fresh from Dimmu Borgir, Tjodlav lent an imposing black metal feel to four of the album's eight tracks. In addition, the broad use of keyboards and atmospheric nuances added darker and more serious elements to OMC's sound, and the outcome is as inviting as it is sinister. Peter Tägtgren engineered Revelation 666 and co-produced it with Galder in his famous Abyss Studios (Dimmu Borgir, Hypocrisy, Immortal). This record earned the band its highest accolades. Marc Almond - Tears Run Rings

1988) After disbanding Soft Cell, vocalist Marc Almond pursued a solo career that followed the same vaguely sleazy, electronic dance-pop his former group had made popular. Almond's strength was never his personality -- his voice tends to waver around the notes instead of hitting them. It was the atmosphere he created with the synths and drum machines. Underneath all of the electronics and disco rhythms, Almond harked back to the days of cabaret singers, updating that sound for the dance clubs of the '80s. Before he properly started a solo career, Almond formed Marc & the Mambas, a loose congregation that featured Matt Johnson of The The and Annie Hogan. Untitled (1982), the group's first album, featured covers of Lou Reed, Syd Barrett, and Jacques Brel; throughout his career, Almond would cover the songs of Brel, which he had learned from the records of Scott Walker. Like Walker, Almond used Brel's heavily orchestrated compositions and social ruminations as a starting point, both musically and lyrically -- Almond added a self-conscious element of camp with his Euro-disco and occasionally sleazy lyrics. Torment & Toreros (1983), Marc & the Mambas' second album, explored this path in more detail than Untitled, only to an orchestral background. After its release, the group br
