    Here's a sneak peak at the dolly proto we've been working on for a bit now. I'm still getting the hang of it. There is progress being made on the user interface. stay tuned @ openmoco.org

    This is pretty cool stuff, Jay. I especially like when Laundryman made an appearance. He moves much slower when he visits my house. Can you include a pic of this unit? maybe shooting itself in a mirror? Very handy, indeed.

    i'm finding quickly that it's not hard to keep the track out of view by slanting the track or tipping the camera. Remember also the 16:9 aspect leaves you some slop on top or bottom of the frame...

    I can only imagine if 'Merlin' and 'Meade' would create a gimbal mount so you could pull back without seeing a track.
