@justinbushaw: Ummm..actualy the security guards where indeed 'church members'-& also ,in some cases, family members of the people they were lining up to drink the kool aide.

It seems to me that this interviewer was in some ways vicariously blaming this young man for NOT helping enough (frame 07:32). This man will have to live with this horrific nightmare the rest of his days. I wonder where he is now and how his life turned out. Furthermore, as church members, I feel we need to study God's Word for ourselves; whereas we won't be so easily misled by some preacher's silken words blended with the Word of God!

That is exactly the REASON only a few of them could get away, it was WAY more than just gaurds and nurses. And yes over 900 died, so that's a LOT of administrators.

How did the few get away without being noticed? Why couldn't more get away? Over 900 hundred people died, it was more of them then the guards and nurses who were administering the poison. I feel the people should have fought more, maybe some would have died from gunshot wounds but maybe over 900 people wouldn't have died. If all of them would have joined with Christine Miller, maybe so many wouldn't have died because there is strength in numbers. They couldn't have killed them all.

I agree that the interviewer was a bit callous. That man, Stanley Clayton, witnessed the carnage down to about the last 200 people before making his escape. That says a lot for his determination to live. I admire the people of Jonestown, because they never stood for hate and violence. It was only result of one man's madness that things turned out they way it did. I only wish someone had shot that sorry SOB dead before he had had a chance to murder all those innocent children.

I don't feel 1 ounce of sympathy for anyone from Jonestown. They where idiots from the Liberal SFO area where better off without them. They said the where leaving the US cuz its a police state funny they left gave all there money to 1 guy that told them what to do live behind a walled compound with armed guards (Red Brigade) forced to listen to his views 24/7 oh and he could sleep with any mans wife he chose. Yeah remind me again that sure sound like a much better place to live in then the USA!

I know bad interviewer, but asides from that my heart really went out to this guy - you can tell he is still in shock. I HAD NO idea that these people were injected with the poison if they refused and HOW the hell could this man have done anything to save the children. What a jerk this interviewer was!!
