@TheZephile Of course not... if it's that easy to put off the lava then no bodies home would get destroyed by volcanos ...since firemen would put it off so fast with their unlimited water :D

@russianzio Nothing, it's too deep underwater to have any effect at the surface. About 80% of the worlds volcanoes erupt deep underwater, along the Mid-Ocean Ridges, we (almost) never see it.
@Puppygirl194 It does form obsidian, but the explosions shatter most of the glass into small shards & fragments, and some glass forms rinds around the pillow lavas.
