The sad thing is this is one of the truest Onion videos. It is boring, exactly why no one pays attention to how agriculture is getting screwed (both farmers and consumers.) Most commodities are price fixed to avoid overproduction but all that does is make it impossible for the small farms to compete. The meat industry would collapse if not for subsidies. It is harder to get a peanut farmer's license than a pot grower's license. But all of this is boring, so why care?
We need more brave men like Bill Daley, with the guts it takes to stand up, and finally blow the lid off the US Department of Agriculture 's corrupt practice of utilizing a indexed counter-cyclical pricing structure policy for Idaho's output productive, small to medium yield, dry ground, labor intensive tuber vegetables!
Sure, those savage Neo-Agro bastards will crucify him, but Bill Daley, is true hero.
Washington still in gridlock in regards to the definition of a bushel and what price export index of onions should be. I personally believe an onion tax for importing states is unconstitutional.
@Entropy137 but hes not going to stand on the side lines and watch the disturctive tuber pollisicies eat away at us like neon agerians ,,, i say here here go man 8 /
