    Greg Cox wrote a book explaining the planet thing, that the "Reliant" came from another arm of the Ceti System and thus mistook the remains of Ceti Alpha VI for an astreoid belt nearby. It's also said that the whole Khan thing was ultra-top-secret so Chekov was prevented from talking to anyone about them having a great dictator marooned in the system.

    you could almost say 5 is a sequel also. in the end of 4 they get a new enterprise but in the beginning of 5 you find out its a piece of shit.

    Kirstie Alley didn't join the cast of Cheers until 1987. Wrath of Khan was released in 1992 and was her introductory role.

    As a kid I was always fighting with my older sister about Trek and SF, she always found that stuff totaly ridiculous. But then I dragged her into this movie (parents did not allow me to go alone and ordered her to take me with her) - she cried like a baby when Spock died, and ever since she became a great Trek and SF fan.
