World Series of Poker champion, Daniel Negreanu gives us his Top 5 Poker Tells. Find out what this poker star of Texas Hold'em is telling you to keep an eye on.

Most of these tells are silly. I find myself doing stuff all the time that other people think is a bluff and I'm just calculating my odds and counting the pot or my chips. I'm not bluffing and I'm not trying to appear to bluff. You don't know if I'm bluffing or not. Watching for tells might change your odds a little but calculating pot odds and your card odds are far more profitable.

Splash the pot means to throw your chips into the pot, not to toss them in front of you. Splashing is a way to cheat by claiming you put the right number of chips in. Try splashing the pot in a casino. You do that to me more than once and I'll stop the game for an hour while the dealer counts all the chips and contacts survallance to review the videos and get a correct chip count. You won't do that to me a third time.
Why not play blackjack and use a system that has been proven by a scientist that mathematically guarantees a solid rock 65% success ratio? Don't believe me? Come check my profile and watch my videos and then visit my website to learn more.

I disagree with one of these. If I'm first to act, and I reach for my chips, then notice my opponent reach for his chips, that usually means he wants you to think he's going to call but he's really weak.
