Shot entirely with the dmc-g1 and a schneider cinegon 10mm/f1.8 (c mount 16mm lens). I'm in love with this lens! The star shots were wide open for 10 seconds @ iso 400. I'm very happy with the way this combo performs...
@milapse great time lapse series ,did you use a seperate timer ? or is there an in camera setting.i am searching the GH1 info ,do you know if the GH1 can do auto time lapse exposures. should i be looking for a seperate cable release like the canon ? many thanks neil
i see i see.
thats brilliantly creative!
sorry, am a bit new to this SLR thingy...
anyway i love the blue G1.
Its either that or nikon d3000 for me...
these are individual frames strung together in post. I have a GH1 too... you can't get over half a second shutter in video mode... this is 10 seconds per exposure!
I guess so... ? the panasonics are a little strange in the fact that they are looking for a resistor inline (rather than a closed loop) and a 4 pole pin. If it has a mini jack plug you should be good to go.
Nice, really like the dissolve between day & night, seamless... and the 10sec night exp. looks great, the blur adds to smoothing out the timelapse nicely... good to hear that my Bolex lenses will come into their own when I finally get my hands on a GH1 :-0
Thanks, no hdr here... The camera is capable but I wish it did bigger steps (2/3ev max). This is all shot manual the transitions are handled in post (simple fade). Ol timelapse trick.
very cool. Is this an HDR timelapse? I'm also curious, where you shooting at a constant exposure or was that being changed, like say when the blue sky melts away to the starry night with the tree in the foreground?
