@FeedEgg Im a christian and I dont think the earth is 6000 years old. Infact if you knew anything about Jesus then you would know that he taught to not worry about the past or future because like me he dont give a shit how old the earth is, its about living in the now. Dont tie up creationists with us genuine christians mate, learn what the fuck it means to be a christian firstly.
How much of the iceberg is above the surface of the water. So the billions of galaxies you can't see don't exist. That's the thinking of a young child or a puppy.
In my humble opinion, I hardly think there is a judging sky daddy who we either please or dissapoint. These are simply worldly/humanistic attributes we see in ourselves. Who are we to apply these things where we don't understand? To explain what lies beyond our solar system and the meaning of life/God's intentions is like trying to describe color to a man born blind. Simply impossible. Atleast at this point in time.
What most people don't understand is not only can't we even begin to grasp the concept of "God" or the multiverse, but our logic and thinking doesn't even apply. People say things like "God loves you and wants the best for you". Love is just some idea we all agree upon. And we convey these many ideas we all agree upon through words and language. I'm not saying God doesn't love us. I'm saying that we cannot fathom why we are here and what else exists, we are simply not designed to do so.
need to feed some of these religious nuts a bag of mushrooms and lock them in an observatory for 5 hours, force the truth down their throats like they do to us with their insane garbage, of course that would probably shatter their fragile psyche into a thousand pieces never to be seen again, at least they would know how i feel when they try to tell me the earth is 6000 years old.
To think though that this is still only one patch that this telescope focused on. A tiny part of the system, and we only looked at only a very tiny fraction of what else is out there. There is way too much left out there to discover. U come so easily to the conclusion that there isn't anything out there. Well have u thought that maybe as humans, our brains lack the ability to comprehend such things. @UberGamerLeeway has it right, there's still alot of shit we don't know about our own earth.
@UberGamerLeeway
Not true
THe Ocean is Full of shit we dont know about.. and the bottom of that is all earth right? which is 80% of the planet right?.. seems like we have only touched 25% of our home
101 idiots (and counting)who think there isnt shit left todo.
WE have been to space and sent shit passed Pluto, SO why cant one of you 101 (and counting idiots go on the first no return mission and tell us what the fuck is out there?
Lots to explore so get to it
@shusaved Oh and btw, i got more feelings of love, hope, anger grace and forgiveness looking at this video than any religious nuts book. Them emotions are what societies create, love and hope mean different things in different societies, proving it's how we have evolved and act within a community that decides what these emotions are to us. Humans then just named these emotions. Don't be such a fool all your life.
Looking at 1000 galaxies each with 100 billions stars is boring to you? You must need a dozen cups of coffee just to get your dull mind awake in the morning. You obviously have no idea what you are looking at!!
@TheRaellz Okay atheist narrow minded guy. THere is no such thing as love, hope, anger, grace, forgiveness....only brute animal instincts. So tell your loved one that their feelings don't matter because they are only instinct. There is more than just the science that explains God's creation. The unseen world is so much bigger and better than the seen world. We visible lighted beings are just the tip of the spectral iceberg. Step on in to the 21st century. It's okay to have faith.
@billi244 God of the Gaps. Neil deGrasse Tyson.
look into that and you'll understand why at the limits of our brains (which were not designed to comprehend such things, yet) we come to some egocentric conclusion because we cannot stand not knowing.
@immortal7billion never said he made anything either. last i checked god doesn't exist. cool we done with the bronze age manipulative stories that were used for recruiting soldiers and starting wars?? good. now let's focus on the here and now and the betterment of mankind. thanks!
