I've recently discovered an animation that was rendered using the measured redshift of all 10,000 galaxies in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field image.

I've written a short script that leads you through a quick history of both deep field images and this video ends with a fly-through of the Ultra Deep Field.

Every galaxy in the image is in its proper distance as viewed from the telescope line of sight.

As if this image wasn't amazing enough.

There is a Rammstein song that uses that music at the end of the track.

and people call me arrogant for being an atheist. they call me arrogant for believing that we are NOT the center of the universe, they call me arrogant for NOT thinking everything jsut exists for one branch of one religion! that i dont think this entire universe exists just for christians, or just for muslims, or just for jews, but that we are but less than a single speck in this vast universe. its more humbling than any "holy book" could ever be

The Hubble isn't the most powerful telescope ever built, as is claimed on the video. It's just in space, so it can see better than more powerful telescopes on Earth that have the atmosphere in the way.

@az015 same here. i think its a fluke because scientists tested the speed of a neutrino before and it came in te same time as the speed of light. main reason why scientists want more tests.

Whats more mind-boggling? Thats only one area. And im sure not all galaxies in that line are even represented- hidden behind noise that got filtered. And its one point in a sea of infinite points.

This humbles me... Humans think we are all important, top of the food chain... The smartest creatures ever having evolved. One look at these pictures, and it almost makes ur hair stand on end. It's almost beyond describing-- the feeling is just... Overwhelming... We need to b reminded that this is no more our planet than it is our universe. Take care of our home, or we may find ourselves evicted

Are there any stars that do NOT belong to a Galaxy?

The astronomers have to clean up "nose" in the image, such as cosmic ray tracks, and clear up distorions. What's more, the Hubble images come down in black and white. They're processed through different filters sensitive to different colors. The astronomers put them back together. That's also more or less the way the human eye works―color-sensitive cells process images, which the brain reassembles.Good video, thanks a lot.

If you guys are into deep thoughts, try this one: Just think if there is a Burger King in one of those galaxies. What are the odds?

Maybe it is like the robot that became aware ot itself......the combined consciousness of the entire living things in the universe create the universe itself therefore bringing things into existence from nothingness... .. . :)
