Plasmas are getting better, faster, thinner, lighter, using less energy than before and are costing less than comparable LEDs of the same size... : P And let's not forget that plasmas also perform better with 3D content. Get this tired old ass off Youtube, NOW!!!

Please remove this video, and be more specific, there's no image burn in many new plasmas, like the ones from Panasonic.

@92NycGirl I have the latest HD 3D 50 Samsung Plasma TV, and it gets burn in pretty easily, however temporarily, it goes away after a while.

Why is no one else bothered by Plasma's screen door look? No one even brings it up.

How much more energy does plasma consume than LED or LCD? Does plasma still have image burns? How good is Panasomic Viera TC-50PX24?

burn in??? really? don't buy a no name plasma and you won't have that problem. Plasma is a better television in every category. cheaper too.

Worth noting, is that LED TVs are actually LCD TVs with LED backlights. If you wanted a TV where EACH pixel is an individual LED (allowing for "perfect blacks", the pixel simply turns off when a current below the threshold is passed), you're looking at OLED TVs (organic light emitting diode), not LED TVs. But, OLED TVs cost an absolute fortune, and aren't very large in size yet, due to how expensive they are to make.

No mention of how LED uses significantly less power than a plasma. LED's have a higher price tag, but if you own it for 10 years you'll save money over a plasma that jacks up your electric bills. Assuming you use the TV often of course.

@wjpferr its easier for people to say "LED TV" rather than having to go around saying "LCD TV with LED backlight" "Hey have u got one of those new LED TV's" or "Hey have u got one of those new LCD TV's with LED backlight" loooool
