Finally someone who gets ALexa-put alexa in your toolbar, watch your rank go up. Alexa is not accurate.

I said 600,000. The reason I do that is I need SOME way to measure someone's traffic. Anyone can lie and say they have X amount of traffic but at least with Alexa I can get SOME idea. It's not 100% accurate but it does give a ballpark.

You know you say on your site that you will do a Case Study but you need an Alexa Rank of 300,000 or less. So then why knock it IF you are going to request this? Should it not be based on traffic visits? I stopped using Alexa because how it's based.

the fact that your traffic has increased doesn't mean that you should rank better with alexa, because the whole traffic of the internet has increased so it is possible that both you and alexa are right at the same time

I don't really stress out on Alexa for their ranking and Pagerank, I could care less. However, there was a time when Alexa was more accurate than it is now. Back in the day, the Alexa toolbar came with Mozilla but now it doesn't. Most people won't install the IE toolbar because it slows down the entire program. I just started getting into Alexa but not for rankings, it's more of helping the internet archive for future references, but that's just me.

Hi Lisa! :) You are so beautiful. I've been working on line as a freelance writer and I am ready to take my business to the next level. I think your videos are really going to help me so I subscribed. I am going to start a blog to compliment my site soon, and after I do some more research I plan on creating some videos. :)

Using Page Rank tools, (apart from Googles own toolbar), is a no-no; Google may ban you for using such tools.. It uses Google Bandwidth without real user search. So Google don't like it :) Automated Queries with Google will hget you banned.

Thanks for your input. Most people are very pagerank crazed, that's true. Mainly because most people don't understand it correctly. Cheers,

I actually belong to Lifelock which helps protect my identity. I also make sure I sign up with reputable companies that I trust and that the page is secure before I submit any personal information. Of course there is always a risk and you cannot protect yourself 100% but I can say that in my 11 years, I haven't had any problems. *knock on wood* :)
