The DRX9000 is truly amazing, my aunt was treated on it in Northern California, she used to not be able to walk for 10 minutes without severe pain; she now is completely pain free! There is not a single decompression device or traction device on the market that has anywhere near the reasearch the DRX9000 has on it. You can email Excite Medical (the new manufacturer) for copies of all the research.

a complete waste of money. its a cable and rope, that's it. Complete rip off and wasted trips to the "doctor". I got scammed 6000 by a ny chiropractor. Again, complete rip off, if your disc is going to heal its going to heal on its own, but the chiro will take the credit with this sham. by an inversion table for 100, same thing.

This therapy works for herniated discs. I've suffered with them for many years and this was the ONLY thing that reduced and pretty much eliminated the torture of a bad back. I very much believe in it and thank my chiropractor for introducing it as an alternative to surgery that most likely would not have worked.

@rayray5340 Ray, I suggest googling Thomas Griner and reading about spastic muscles. Thomas Griner has connected all the dots and has come up with a method that works for releasing the lactic acid from the spindle cases and getting the feedback nerves communicating with the cerebellum properly. I had excruciating pain in my hip joint that was the result of spastic muscles pulling my femur into my hip joint. Good luck with your patients! Feel free to ask me more about it if you need to. Sam

hello. This is is just traction. Same or better results can be obtained by hanging over the edge of your bed.

@sambking hi i just wanted to comment about this machine and your spastic muscles comment. I thought this machine was for spine and herniating disk problems and not spastic muscles. just wondering your thoughts on that. I have a person in my office whos in great shape however has come down with some herniating disk issues. im thinking about referring him to this type of procedure. what do you think.

Pulling on contracted muscles that are spastic is dangerous. You may make them contract even more and may injury a person. Read Thomas Griner's work (search for Thomas Griner) to understand how the body works and how to help it heal itself. His work involved science based on anatomy and physiology. Simply pulling on the body will not help the body heal itself.

What about spastic muscles stuck in a contracted state? Do a search for Thomas Griner and then read his work on how spastic muscle or hypertonic muscle creates many, many problems in the body. You will find it under neurosoma. He developed a technique that he has practiced for over 40 years. There is science behind his work as opposed to most all others.
