In a time of economic uncertainty, when unemployment is nearing 10% and spending by House Democrats is out of control, what is Speaker Pelosi's number one priority?
@mrsbobc they wont listen because the big major corperations will make a killing off this. it includes smart grid technology across the ussa. so ge, ibm get to make a ton of money.
Because they are "the enlightened few" and we are the oafs walking around who cant support ourselves and need big nanny government to take care of us. Read the book "Liberal Fascism" by Jonah Goldberg. Its a very good read.
but i guess.. yu have to kinda understnad where he's coming from.... like it a masive country and you wouldnt want to get into debt as a nation!! sure us in ireland are paying more than 21% on goods here......
The more you pollute the more you should be taxed. In the same manner it would be great if those who do invest in green systems get tax back at the end of the year. And I am sure Obama has that in place. I also think that the more you pollute the more you should pay tax. E.g.: The heavier your car, the more road tax you should pay. Unfortunately it's a time of lay offs, but it's also a time where new industries and jobs are being created to reduce the use of fossil fuels.
I wish ALL AMERICANS could see this.

I've already written and called both of my Senators and my Congresswoman about this. All three answered and acknowledged their concern on the increase of household expenses and agreed it was not a good bill if it added to the already struggling families in Colorado.
Call your congressperson today and tell them to vote NO on Cap and Trade, this is nothing more than a huge tax increase.
Your total household expense will go up an average of $200-$250 per month.
