@zealander33 To get a shallow depth of field it's best to go into aperture priority mode (A) and set the aperture to the widest one available (the smallest number). Too late for the wedding but may come in useful in the future anyway
what lens do you find the most useful? I have a sony A300 and doing a wedding Oct. 1st. Also, what do you do / setting do you use to get such a good DOF?
Thanks for all the comments, hopefully I will have another video with pics from this year up soon enough! If you're still wondering about the song it's "notion" and by kings of Leon. The moon pic is cropped, used 55-200 lens and took a lot and this was the best of them. I know of ansel Adams and I can see what you mean about the similarity but I'm about 100 years away from getting half way to have a photo as amazing as his but thanks.
