Here's the latest! v2.1 is simply running on a 12v DC motor. The concept here is super simplicity, dial in a speed and let r rip. I found top speed to be 25 minutes per 5' travel and was able to slow it down to over 2 hours per 5'. v2.2 is in progress and will solve some annoying convenience issues I found with this version. So, out of curiosity... how does bout $750 for any length up to 6' (5' travel) ready to go with battery sound to you? :-) opinions?

Snowdrops can bloom as early as January if the weather is mild for at least a few days, but to me I don't really get that "spring is here" feeling until the first daffodil/forsythia blooms.

When you can see beyond normal human view of time and space, it produces a new emotion... an almost untouched emotional resource within- analogous to a religious experience. Absolute awe inspiring!

@milapse Thanks for the speedy reply. That info helps me wrap my head around it. A suggestion for future posts would be to include this type of info in the description so everyone can learn/experiment a bit quicker by seeing the results and knowing some of the input variables. Thanks!

@shanerich I shot this mostly with a 500d + L 16-35mm . Intervals between 3-10 seconds depending, F5.6-12 depending on the DOF I was looking for and shutter to match @ iso100, full MANUAL, I rarely stray from that statement. Didn't use NDs here but do if I want some blur in the action...

Do you mind sharing a bit of the technical info. What camera, what interval is each frame, what was your aperature and shutter speed, are you in full manual or automatic, and are you using any ND filters on camera? Thanks. Love the work and excited to jump in an try this myself. Looking fwd to the Dolly public release for purchase. I'd do it for $750.

Mr. Bloom and I chat here and there ;-) We'll see how the kessler product comes in line. For now it's all guesswork. We're looking to get these tools into enthusiasts and indies hands so affordability is extremely important to us. Thanks for the Kudos! File management? I'm an Adobe suite user if that's what you mean. otherwise it's lots of raid arrays and organization to the best of my abilities! ;-)

Have not ventured into the cable realm. Definitely curious... The weight @ 6' is around 13#, simple dial variable speed, under 5min setup. You could go shorter on the track for transport, I'm thinking ski bag @ 6
