Had my first lesson in Carolina shag 2 days before so excuse the lack of moves. This was right at the end of SOS shagging event dancing with Donna Rosen
@minnomouse1 No but my wife and I go to Atlantic Beach every trip we make to the Myrtle Beach area and shag several nights away at the clubs there. We are "children of the 60s" and in our early 60s ourselves and it keeps us young at heart!
@CurtisDoverY0 Ok thanks, if I was in the States and a lad asked me for a Shag, I would just burst out lauging lol.., if he meant a dance of course :)
Used to be Fat Jack's - I had a membership there when I was 15 though it was "supposedly" limited to 21 and older. Fun, fun times. We'd go back and forth from here to the Galleon and sneak on the back deck to avoid cover charge and ID checks.
its just great when you go out over there and see random people doing the shag :) just makes me smile everytime. I generally try, and FAIL miserably lol but we have fun.
Gee that place looks so familiar to me! I used to go there (I think) back in the early 80's but I believe it was called something else. Does anyone know?
