Perry's voice in the 80's was much much better than Arnel but nowadays, Arnel's voice is better bec. Perry's voice changed alreay that is the fact., but i still love him bec. of what he contributed for JOURNEY. Arnel is the best choice.
arnel pineda is better singing live than steve perry...steve perry is good only at recording studio not on live performances...that's why he backed out, because he can not sing live anymore...
I can't believe I lived long enough to see a first Asian to break through and perform with a World Class band like Journey. Arnel you are a phenomena. As a 60's rocker myself jamming with Manila's old rockers, your'e the best of the best . How you hit those high notes simply amazes me. You are Journey's lucky find .. thanks to You Tube. Neal Schon hired you because you're the golden boy he's been looking for. More success & power to you and Journey.!!! Keep on rocking!!
george, it's sad when a bigot and uneducated "gay" like you can't recognize talent when you see one. Just imagine a lead singer for journey from half the world away filling the shoes of a legend! You should be glad journey can inspire young and old alike, which makes for a better world.
