Qrio got canceled because its impact was too great on some minds, especially the kids. For example, if its batteries ran out of power, then the kids thought the robot actually died and started crying.
That's probably the biggest reason why the Qrio program got canceled, since it being designed for the average consumer.
They can do a million more things than this. This was just a display i gather... If you look around on youtube, you can find all sorts of videos of them...
