@TheZillaGod Socialism is a basically a watered down version of communism. It lets the government decide on what it thinks is best for the people at a controlled degree but still violating human rights. This is why the US is now starting to pass laws such as PIPA and allowing indefinite detention of US citizens on US soil. It sees a country as a collective mass of helpless individuals who are just waiting for a savior. It does not give an individual the liberty for "pursuit of happiness,"

I'm taking an Understanding cults class in College and just seeing two minutes of this in class gave me a freaky feeling, especially the scene that shows the vibrant community if you can call it that the night before and then cutting to Jones telling everyone to just lay down and die. People did it. If they didn't they would have been shot but still. Now I want to see the whole thing.
