@BingMedia Well I am also British and to me, it is as you say pronounced date-a-base. But to Americans it is pronounced dat-a-base. You do realise that he is an American right?
At the end of the day you know what he means and he is making tutorials to help you so why bitch about the way he correctly (in his country) pronounces a word?
@BingMedia @BingMedia Seriously...are you some British dude whose trying to act smart about pronunciation? Well if you are british, have you noticed how the majority of the population don't pronounce a 't' in the middle of a word?....So yeah...an american might say 'ugh' to that....

I wondered how you did this using XAMPP? I tried creating one from phpMyAdmin but it doesn't appear to work in the same way that is being demonstrated in this tutorial. I would be very grateful if someone could direct me to a demonstration that deals with this, or otherwise tell me what I'm doing wrong.
