yea i know .. but the way you used it .. it expected the vars to be number values not strings thats why it gave you zero .. nice vid tho

Concat could be used either with a plus sign or a dot. $var1 = "hello "; $var2 = "world"; $var3 = $var1 + $var2; $var4 = $var1 . $var2;

lol .. i caught the plus sign insted of the concat dot from the start and knew if was going to error.. must have been thinking about javascript or visual basic huh? ..

thanks for this video. This is what I wanted for tutorials since you don't wanna jump around from one php calculator to like a php forum login logout without knowing the basic knowledge. Get what I mean? Best to take step by step. Like what you're doing so far. =)
