hello, could you help me to add an upload function to the create topic / post reply section? I don't know how to add two form actions. I followed your tutorial until the end, it was realy instructive and everything works fine. A great thank you to you for all the work!

@TigersDancing "I had to fire a bunch of people recently who programmed like this" - you're an asshole, and should have trained your employees. Even if they learned programming via an educational institute, such as a University, they may have adapted to a particular language than those learning it elsewhere; thus, to attain collective conformance, you should have trained them.

"I had to fire a bunch of people recently who programmed like this" Then you sound like a pathetic douchebag and nobody wants to work with you anyways.

All my variables use one my protection function to sanitize them. Double quoting vs. single quoting doesn't make a big difference, I've tested it out on one line echos and the time differences are practically the same. Using a framework may be your idea of programming, but not everyone in the world has to do what YOU do. I have a strong knowledge of programming and I'm not about to go and change the way I program just because of one comment like this. You should also take in account my age, 16.

A couple of notes, sanitize your request variables before pulling data directing into you code. Avoid using double quote for simple string echo as it is extra load on php parsing - use single quote instead. Play with MVC type frameworks such as Zends framework to get familiar with design patterns. Nice tutorial for beginners but be warned, I had to fire a bunch of people recently who programmed like this - go back to programming basics and learn popular framework methodologies.

Hey your tutorials are great.. Are you going to do any other tutorials besides forums? I would like 1 where users can chat like a chat room. I tried going through the tutorials and always something comes up while I am doing it, can you post the full source for all the files please?

Hey Marcus. I've watched all of these tutorials, and I noticed in this one that you don't explain to us how you made the grey box on the left, it can be seen to the left of all the replies. Could you please show us how you made it? Keep the PHP rockin' and take care!
