there has to be other life because if there is any other planet within a habitable zone from its host star and it has water and carbon then it has a 99.999% chance of life
I wonder, if we ever find life on another planet, what will be their belief on how life started? Would it be rooted in their faith, or will it be rooted through science?
@roughs3x Although your 100% correct. A lot of people who hate the bible I think also hate history and critical thinking. The story of creationism is a common theme that's representative in every known culture. the bible was no more than a culture's interpretation of their world. Moreover, as a critical thinker you need to recognize the story's inherent absurdity and understand that it's a "narrative." It's not meant to be taken literal... like a actor's performance; it's all an act.
@tnafguy I'm taking astronomy right now and I know from history and current scientific evidence that the scientific community doesn't have a clue as to how life emerged. It's all guess work - that's the point. All Science can do is make observations... leave the absolute-elitist thinking to the theologians. This movie is full of assumptions that are not correct. Nobody have ever seen a planet been born only planets seen die in a supernova. Show me an example of a planet that has been seen born, you can,t!!!
