My dad brought this camera about 10-15 years ago (600i...I don't know if thats exactly the same, because it looks basically the same). It was about £700...so almost $800. Its a great camera, and I use it all the time, since my DSLR Nikon got boring. Its a shame that these camera's are so much cheaper, because I remember buying some Nikon's for almost £1,000 each, which now you can get for half/a quarter of the price. Still an awesome camera. :)
