I have the s570 and it sounds like a fan in the background -.- I'm going to return it and get the sony one ! gawd ppl say that nikons are amazing but I can't record anything without it sounding like there's a stupid fan behind me
the cause of this, is because of the lens of the camera, not really the les, but when you are moving, the camera is estabilizing image, so it make noise.
:( yeah mine L11 do the same, it have video size 640x480 * and video q is normal but that fck noise :( maybe i can replace that mic with other but nothing i allready broke display :D
my l10 is the same way except my mic has gone from super sensitive to super deaf within a year and its now crashing excessively last nikon ill ever buy my next cam will be sony or cannon
I have two clips on my account featuring the same annoying fluttering noise that the Coolpix L11 makes.
I liked the still photos the Coolpix L11 made but the L11's are worthless for video because of the built in noise defect that they all produce. The cause of the noise is posted in my clips info.
I took mine back to the store for a Sony Cybershot.
