*for those who concern about no ramps for the turtles to get on to the platform: after I shot this video, I stacked some rocks together as a staircase, and they could climb up to the platform*
@chiporama I made the platform wif coroplast(plastic board), the stand wif wood
in this setup they could only jump into water and couldnt get on to the platform, but now I turned that huge driftwood upside down and use the root as dry land, they can climb on it to bask anytime
actually I boil it to kill germs and worms that eat the wood
to get rid of the colour u just need to keep doing water change
if u put a piece of wood as big as mine into the tank directly, the water is gonna look like coffee or tea, u cant see anything inside
yup it has to be boiled but I don have a pot big enough to do that, so I put it into my laundry bucket and fill wif hot water, I did that for about half a year to remove the colour
