This stunning visualisation of Cassiopeia A, the result of an explosion approximately 330 years ago, uses X-ray data from Chandra, infrared data from Spitzer and pre-existing optical data from NOAO's 4-m telescope at Kitt Peak and the Michigan-Dartmouth-MIT 2.4-m telescope. The neutron star left over from the stellar blast is an artist's illustration (Courtesy NASA/CXC/D Berry; Model: NASA/CXC/MIT/T Delaney et al.)

@159aym Nope sry...I'm racist (I'm not talkin 'bout black ppl). And I admit it. I have to fight for my own beliefs because religion is like seek and destroy. It's like kill or be killed. Eliminate or be eliminated. And yeah...Science > Religion. Because science always work. Religion can't feed the poor. But science and rational thinking could. Unfortunatly there aren't too many atheists, agnostics or non believers or w/e. Religion is like: You might go to hell!! I'm like: Fuck no....

@TehGIGAgamer Haha. I tell people around me that I'm an atheist just because most of them don't know the meaning of "agnostic". I am more involved into cosmology...I'd like to be an astrophysicist. Also I don't realy think religion is right, and it's not so moral to believe in a god. Doing bad things makes you go to hell. I noticed that most of people do good things just cause they're scared not to go in hell. So...What's so moral in this? Doing good things because you're afraid of something...

To be honest, I dont believe in an all knowing God but I also dont respect all of the ignorant atheists telling theists to pray sarcastically. Most theoretical physicists don't believe in an all knowing God, but do believe that matter came from somewhere. (ie. a form of God).

@TheBlackIdentety The profit motive has to be replaced by humanitarian motives, and this world is presently in the iron grip of people who believe greed, exploitation and selfishness are good things, and concern for one's brothers and sisters is a weakness. It won't change overnight, for sure. Whenever it does, all our scientific resources can be put to the common good All that aside, great video!

@G0IFI Yes I know. After two thousand years we're still killing each other by the will of the rich. This will have to stop one day.Either that or humanity dies out. I mostly agree with the teaching of Christ exept the parts where God comes into play for obvious reasons.Hopefully one day the society modell of star trek will come true. :) Would be nice to just replicate anything we need.Nanotechnology will make it reality probably in this century.First we will have to get rid of money though.

@TheBlackIdentety Christianity's ideas, or at least the original teachings of Christ as recorded, whether or not a man perceived to be the "son of God" actually existed, were probably quite revolutionary. The poor were to be masters of the earth, to be rich in a world of poverty was evil. Such ideas became lost as successive Kings and Despots had the books rewritten to their liking. Even today, radical ideologies that run counter to the interests of the powerful are revised in the same way.

@G0IFI Well said!He will not simply get mad.He will kill you and banish you to eternal torment. Now that's religion pure and simple.Made up by the rich so that the poor would serve them unquestioningly. This concept is outdated. There is no God! People should stop waisting time on waiting for salvation and start facing the real problems of earth. For starters maybe we could find a way to feed those who are starving. There is over a billion(!) of them and I don't see God helping them out!

I thought this would be a flight through a neutron star which would be quite interesting. But it's just a flight through the gaseous nebula surrounding the neutron star.

to all the people who say its all to complex for anybody to figure out, it's people thinking like you do that keep us from understanding the true nature of things everything has an explanation if you dig hard enough, look at the past at all the people that mocked scientific genius over the ages, how much has been said unexplainable then somebody comes along and figures it out? Even when they did, people were to narrow minded to except the truth and prosecuted those who knew better. think big!
