The NVIDIA Tesla C2050 Computing Processor fuels the transition to parallel computing and bring the performance of a small cluster to the desktop. Based on the next-generation CUDA architecture codenamed "Fermi", the 20-series family of Tesla GPUs support many "must have" features for technical and enterprise computing including C++ support, ECC memory for uncompromised accuracy and scalability, and a 7X increase in double precision performance compared Tesla 10-series GPUs. The Tesla C2050 GPU is designed to redefine high performance computing and make supercomputing available to everyone.

lol he hasn't a clue what he is talking about. Basicly for those who want to know, this is a card with the NVIDIA GPU but is not used for video processing (no VGA/HDMI/DVI ports). If you want to experiment, I would advise buying an up to date NVIDIA card (with support for CUDA) to check it out first. If you know CUDA, then you will know the requirement for this, otherwise you probably won't need it.

@ShitWrangler You think this is only Suitable for a HTPC? Honestly who would even be so stupid to consider buying a HPC card for HTPC use. You made me laugh haha. This is meant for HPC use dumbass. People should understand that these cards are meant for commercial use not for an average user as you seem to think. You all should do some research, and not make hasty and stupid comments of things you don't know anything about.

Nivida Geforce 8800GT 512MB = approximately 500Gflops why not just use 2 8800GTs for $200 instead of a tesla card?

@ViXoZuDo I meant that AMD Firestream is an competing product to tesla. Ok, you said that ATI doesn't have an equivalent to the Tesla series, but AMD and ATI are basicly the same.

Wow, this guy sells the product like someone does in store. Pure snake oil. Referencing the paper to ramble on about irrelevant facts that confuse and overwhelm the average consumer. I know more than average and I'm fucking baffled. A super computer? Only one DVI connection? Looks like a piece of crap to me and honestly maybe only suitable for a HTPC at best. But of course you would never mention that beign that you either don't know or you sell the oil of snake. Go back to shopping channel TD.
