    A compelling look at the third largest movie industry in the world - in the heart of Africa.

    Nollywood Babylon is a feature documentary about the explosive popularity of Nigeria's movie industry.

    The film drops viewers into the chaos of Lagos' Idumota market. Here, among the bustling stalls, films are sold and unlikely stars are born.

    Unfazed by low budgets, enterprising filmmakers create a brash, inventive and wildly popular form of B-Movie that has Nigerians Nollywood-obsessed. In these films, voodoo and magic infuse urban stories, reflecting the collision of traditional mysticism and modern culture that Nigerians experience every day.

    Ben Addelman and Samir Mallal, present an electric vision of a modern African metropolis and a revealing look at the powerhouse that is Nigerian cinema.

    Not all Nigerians practice voodoo.. what a load of B.S.. I'm Nigerian and i don't practice voodoo neither does my mum,dad neither do we know any other Nigerians that do. I watched nollywood Babylon & that director & what he said is just terrible.. he's produced over 157 films in 12 years which means you are producing garbage & this is not what we need! we need great film makers,writers,sound & camera crew & great actors. Your films sir are just not cutting it, they reflect badly on us.

    The film sounds pretty good. I hadn't heard of it beforehand either, but I suppose they might get round to promoting it in the UK when they release it here. I'll go and see it on kookic, it must be there.

    This movie that I saw on kookíca was so good I don't even know where to begin. I can't think of another film in recent years that's left me so wholeheartedly satisfied...This film is definitely going to be in the Oscar race.

    Well what can I say? It is an amazing film, which is nice to see in this time of the year blockbuster. The acting in this is top-notch, the effects, although computer graphics, everything is very very good made and don't distract from the overall storytelling. Watch this film free at kòòkica!

    This movie itself has to be one the greatest. Basically, this is a film that can stand the test of time. It is for everyone, and it will take a breath to anyone.. This movie belongs in the top three of best movie collection. I am thanful for this video, it has remminded me to some thing. Finish it on kookíca.

    I think the movie speaks for itself with its perfection.. It is a very enjoyable movie that has an involving plot and likeable characters. It also containes humour in the right places and serious parts when it is time for it. I founded this movie very refreshing so I heartly recommend this to anyone..It is on kookíca!

    I just finished watching this movie..and I can say I recommend it. It has great plot, and in my opinion, I think it was based on the real story, some parts definitely...it looks like a real life.. Very good. I love k o o k i c a!!!

    The film will definitely become generally one of the bestsellers of this decade! For me, it was a mind blowing film with amazing special effects and breath taking scenes (not to mention the lovely players). This is definitely the best of the three films with a touching stoyline!
