@1989NikeMcfly thanks so much!!! I have scholiosis. Noticed at age 10 and did a Harrington Rod surgery to correct it. Had a 2nd surgery 3 years ago and now this one should hopefully be it lol.

I am 27 years old and having my 3rd spinal surgery Nov 4th!! Next week!!! Im scared because the last one 3 years ago--the surgeon accidentally punctured my spinal sac when he was chiseling and I lost brain/spinal fluid--bacteria got in and up in my brain and I got Bacterial Menengitis!!!!! I almost died in the Hospital ..........................I hope it doesnt happen this time because he is doing a 3rd fusion and more extensive!!! If you had similiar please fill me in

@mholub I do not remember if that is the correct term for the doctors I'm talking about, I could be wrong of course. But be careful with the chiropractors, if he does not mention anything according to the sciatic nerve or the muscles surrounding that nerve in the lower back region, I wouldn't fully trust him. However I can also suggest you trying the operation, I hear they are pretty safe and stable now with very great results. If I do not get healthier soon, I'll take the operation myself :)

@AbyssalHeim Thanks for the response. I never heard of a "Physiologist." I'll have to look into that.

@mholub I dunno if you've done anything drastic yet, but as far as I know, chiropractors are not the best choice for a herniated disc treatment. Your best choice would be a physiologist, and a good one, or take an operation. Personally Í have had a disc herniation for around 5-6 years, got it when I was 16, but treatment has been very slow, and I'm thinking about taking a surgery, but know that I've only been in treatment for almost a year... but that's still a long time.

There is nothing like the DRX9000 herniated discs! it has close to a 90% success rate for treating severe back pain! The manufacturer of this machine is Excite Medical. Studies have been done on this non-surgical non-invasive technology by doctors from Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, Georgetown and many more. Simply google "Excite Medical" and go to their website for more info!

I've had a herniated disc for almost 27 years. It's REALLY bothering me now. I know I need to go to a Dr. I went to a chiropractor and didn't get much help there. I like to run and train with weights, but I'm even having pain when I walk......Any suggestions?

I have just for a week ago been operated for a herniated disc between L4 and L5 I had pain going from my bag and down my in my right leg for 2 months before I was operated. 6 weeks before I got the herniated disc i gave birth to a little baby girl.
