Time lapse of the miracle of interactive fiction being born! Watch author Aaron A. Reed at work on his interactive opus, Blue Lacuna, and see the magic of programming, the magic of writing, and the magic of chronic back pain all at once!
I'm about to start writing a huge Interactive Fiction novel, and in time, will develop it into a computer game. For now, I'm just writing though haha. This genre brings so many new ideas to me.
Discovering that I'm watching the legendary Aaron A. Reed at work, the first sentence of this video is mind-boggling: "People often ask me what I do for fun, and I respond that I write 385,000 word IFs (see Blue Lacuna - quite possibly the biggest IF EVER - and compare this to War and Peace at about 500,000 words) that has made Inform remove its upper limit of words in the source code. ...for FUN, of course."
Because of the hard work and dedication demonstrated, because of the good music, and because of the hilarity created by the combination of the two. I've favourited this.
Nice work. ^_^ I am currently making a hypertext interactive fiction story, and -@ a slower passe- html site in which will have more of my future IF creations. ^_^
