    The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has made the first detection ever of an organic molecule in a planet orbiting another star. This breakthrough is an important step in eventually identifying signs of life on a planet outside our Solar System.

    On Earth it has been found that Hydrothermal vents can reach up to 407°C and with it lives extremophiles and other organisms. 900°C could also support life for organisms--methane produced from organisms? Mars produces methane regularly which suggests life beneath the surface. Earth's coal mines producing methane have also been used to generate electricity
