Even though it is human nature to want to learn, we don't need to know where, when, how or why. A zebra is not just matter, nor is a beautiful flower just matter and let's include all the species of fish, fowl and man himself. Matter? God has to be the creator of the world we live in and the universe we are seeing through the Hubble telescope. This is a way God speaks to us. Just enjoy and say thanks to Him and those who invented the telescope and who put it in space for all of us to see.
(and on earth are signs for those who have faith with certainty * and also in your ourselves. @AudreyWeilert I can understand your wonder, and your love of the beauty of the universe, but I do have one point of contention. You simply cannot have your cake and eat it too. It is illogical at best, and dishonest at worst, to say that you Know that this is your gods doing, and yet to simultaneous assert that we cannot possibly know where, when, how or why. How can you KNOW anything about it, if "its not for us to know"? Please don't mistake your good feelings for a divine signature.
