@vulpecula999 You would be surprised to know two of the cultures you mention believed the world was indeed flat. The Greeks did wise up early on, but they also thought it was flat until the classical period. Some Sumerian tablets reveal they thought the world to be spherical. Also, the idiotic notion of flat Earth held in Europe by the religious theocracy until Columbus made his legendary voyage. Too much to explain here though.

we need to teach the mystery and enoromity of space in school to galvanise peoples priorities and perspective of what we are and why we are here.. and the way we should treat people.. that is a logical and certainly a major priority in getting us all to live in peace.. so we can concentrate on whats really important our survival and the survival of our children
