    Where you goin with that Apple Pie and Rifle?? I've never actually considered eating apple pie while deer hunting. I'll have to give that a try!! You are true American!! As always, That looks Gooooood !! I've tried several of your recipes and they have always been Gooooood!!

    @eedwards74 agreed! your pie, your way! personalize them on your own! Pit boys did their own way, so instead of complaining here and there, people should re-adjust it to their liking. Never argue about other's taste.

    When I was younger it was not uncommon for ppl to have cake with a piece of cheddar, this was cake that had no icing on it. It was actually a good combination. Now I am lactose intolerant so no more cheese.

    @shirleysw21 these kettle grills cook like a kitchen oven. I do these pies and the crust comes out like my great gramma's wood stove did them. awesome And those beef and chicken pot pies on the grill....! oh, baby...!

    @Yeabuddy1 ,actually you can find it in the section where they keep the butter, and biscuit dough,in the refigerated area not the frozen area, if you live in TEXAS,go to the big chain grocery stores HEB and they put out a dough from there own line which is called Hill Country Fair Brand, or even Wal-mart has it under their Name Brand Great Value

    well i just baked and ate half of that apple pie with the cheddar stix and let me tell you what that's one hellofa combo wow GREATPITSUHHFIRE!!!!!!!!!,oh yeah also had a side of buffalo wings, and finger ribs right off the same pit the pie was baking on DAMN that was a hellofa dinner.
