    I find a certain irony in how "girl gamer of the year" awards and other such things are probably meant to look empowering to women, but in reality, they're just sexist, pandering, and create an even bigger divide in the genders. "Hey, guys, look! Girls that play video games! They need their own category because they're obviously inferior to men and cannot compete on their level, right?"
