Uh..flash doesn't export 3d files. No fbx,no.obj it is all bitmap, jpeg or swf.At best you'll export the shit as a png sequence but you'll still end up using it as a picture or mini movie sequence in your 3d app.The only thing you could then do is use it to roto your own 3d file.yes fl and flex work together whatever the case you still need to write your action script codes for the purpose of interactivity (obviously).
Hello,
I would greatly appreciate your advice regarding papervision3d and flash.
1 .Is there an advantage to using papervision 3D rather than only using action script in flash to build 3D interactive projects?
2. Is there a benefit to using flex software when building a 3d interactive programme?
Does it work in conjunction with flash and papervision?
3. To input data to store it in a 3D virtual environment- is papervision the best option or is flash sufficient?
HELP!! I managed to create my own custom 3D design and export it to Papervision. The Flash file compiles and displays perfectly. However when I upload it to my site the 3D object is not visible.
@petarcarsuperstar You probably have to also upload the entire folder you made for your swift 3d folder with your orgs and such inside it to your root directory, because while you may have the image that the fla calls up, the other person viewing it will not, unless it is downloaded to their ram automatically from the website. Like when you put an img src into html, but it doesn't work unless you've uploaded the photo. I hope I helped
@mrRapkis grrr... I try to write a comment, but it says: Error, try again... (no I don't have any website names in my comment...)
Is it possible to make the sides of the cube with links? Let's say I click on one side and it takes me to a certain page of a site. If it is possible, could you teach us how to do it?
Man, you sure you're Indian Adam? Cause you actually sound like you have a more American-ized accent. Almost like me :D (West-Indian).
Oh yeah, great tut~
