I've heard of many near death experiences, its always the same crap. In those experiences, you'll see whatever your feeble braiwashed brain has been programmed to see since your childhood. A christian will see Jesus, hell, demons, light at the end of the tunnel etc, while people from different religions will see different things, different gods. It's all brainwashing + the fact that people needs to believe they're immortal somehow, because they're scared shitless of death

Im an atheist, therefore i dont believe in unproven fairy tales like afterlife. But you believe in some kind of afterlife, you're talking about Jones paying for his crimes in it, are u saying his afterlife of yours is UNRELATED to religion?

Yes it is true that the people drawn to him probably did not possess the strongest intellects and definitely suffered from the "herd affect", but we have seen firsthand throughout history how one person can hold sway over people. Look at Hitler. Look at Osama bin Laden and Al-Quaida. It's just the way of the world, unfortunately. Damning these people for this awful tragedy is just simply ignorant. Jim Jones is the ultimate cause of their deaths.
All of the people at Jonestown, except the children, deserved to die. Because they are weak and stupid and that is how the world works. It's all just a part of natural selection. And I blame the parents of the children more than Jim Jones for the children's deaths because Jim Jones couldn't lead them to death on his own. They'd be alive if not for their stupid, weak parents.
