    You know, when I first heard this, I foolishly shut my ears and mind to it and decided that I did not like it... But most things deserve a second chance, and not to long ago I was at home not doing anything too important, smoking a bowl, and this song comes on radio and it blew me away. Hell, I almost cried. She has done John (who I love dearly) proud. Cheers!

    Gosh y'all are getting sooooo off subject with political discussion. What about the song? I think John would be proud of this cover. And my gosh, don't hate on religion, hate on "religion done wrong." Dolly is a Christian who gets Christs message correct: Love everybody, Hate nobody. Even though there is a heaven and a hell no matter how much you try to imagine them away, the message of the song is still clear....love everybody no matter what. You ain't gotta agree, just don't hate.

    @vaibanez17 The DC decided to side with the Taliban all becuase Osama hated Bush. They deserved what happen to to them. As for "Hate" the DC allowed their hatred and bigotry to blindly side with our nation's enemies and brutal dictators all becuase they hate Bush, which their hatred continued like normal after Nov,2008.     I'm glad someone in the Nashville scene gets it......Nashville Country is so full of hate, it's ridiculous. A few people get it and when they get it(like the Dixie Chicks) they get ostracized from country music. I remember when they told a rioting crowd in England that they were ashamed Bush was from Texas, half at least of all country stations in the US refused to play their music. Ridiculous, why is Nashville so full of hate?
