My two cents: Its the photographer AND the equipment. I don't care what some may think, give a pro a point-and-shoot and they STILL won't be able to get that nice depth-of-field for portraits. They won't be able to effectively zoom-in on wildlife from afar for that up-close look. Thanks anyhow for the inspiration to just go out and shoot. Thats the best tip to give any amateur photographer, shoot, shoot, and shoot some more.
