    If there is one video I get a lot of grief about, it's this one. I know there are a lot of skeptics that like to pick on this video but could you please keep the insults to a minimum? I can count at least 30 comments I removed and 16 people I've blocked from commenting because they can't behave themselves. Its a wonder why UFOlogist feel so ridiculed for speaking out. I don't mind constructive comments, but when you offer explanations with no examples, metrics or data that has not been quantified, then keep your unproven theories to yourself.

    Is that not the shoot that deploys for the capsule.....?????????? I think so.........AT NO TIME IN OUR HISTORY DOES ANYTHING POINT TO ALIENS EVER BEING FOUND...........A UFO DOES NOT HAVE TO CONTAIN ALIENS....ALL UFO'S ARE "SUPPOSED" SECRETS BY OUR GOV.....Our air force testes alot of new machines- Also it is funny that these supposed UFO's are always blurry or out of focus-

    the camera is zoomed to its max and what you are seeing is a specular hilite pixelated.

    If you want people to listen to your opinion, don't call the shuttle a space rocket when you're trying to speak your mind. It helps to sound a little smart sometimes.

    even if this is an autofocus problem, it doesnt explain why the high powered reentry telescopes on the ground took no photo's and no footage on that day.. Isn't that wierd ?

    @MarsFKA I agree with you 100% and I have done so this before. I believe if you further down this thread I basically said the same thing. But you can not write all videos that have this same effect as a blanket statement the encompasses this effect. You could point a camera at a UFO and get the same effect as well depending if auto focus was on no matter what object you point at.

    @TunTavernWarrior2 When Columbia broke up, the crew compartment depressurised so quickly that the crew had no time to close their visors.

    At the risk of having this post deleted because I do not agree with you, it doesn't take rocket science to see that the UFO is an amateur video of Columbia that went momentarily out of focus. Have you ever pointed a video camera on auto-focus at an object in a clear sky and found that the camera wouldn't hold focus? Happens to me all the time. The unedited amateur video, that shows the "UFO" appearing, then disappearing is on Youtube.

    @andyman2461 Agreed. That is what I saw in the picture as well. I only hope that the crew was knocked out by this time. If they were alive at the time of this shot, they probably knew they were doomed.

    also, at the last exposure of the "diamond", it looks like it streaks smoke from our right hand side. like a jet mist or something. wierd

    true about the shapes on different focuses, however with the entire footage, and coming from a news service, you'd think they would have had the entire "zoom" process in a time line that wouldn't just inadvertantly catch a diamond or disk shaped thing. I actually thought when they started talking about the helicopter that that's what it was, but he was just mentioning the helicopter. it's just bizarre they'd cut to the single "roundish" object.

    its a primitive form of transportation. flying inside a rocket. they should just go to the moon or into space aboad a ufo spaceship. its alot safer.

    You know what? I don't care what anyone says, UFO's are real. I feel that every time there is a disaster there is a UFO there. They ARE real people. And if it were Columbia then where was the smoke??? I feel so bad for the people that were aboard the space rocket. My heart goes out to them and their families. It was truly devastating.

    I agree to a particular extent.. I've actually did some research and took a video camera and started messing with the focus as I filmed an DC-730 coming in to land. Depending on the light that was coming in, it actually was in the shape of a diamond. (what you see in this video) Although, there are some cases in diamond shape UFO's (not in this video) that are still unexplained in various footage's Ive seen. Thank you for your comment.

    well bsatom hi. i don't want to get into some long exhange here, cos it always ends in tears, so it seems on youtube. the shape seen is a defocussed one which has taken on the shape of the camera's iris- i described this as square but i could have said diamond. i am aware of the entire history of ufo related matters. this is why we need to concentrate on evidence that stands up to basic scrutiny, otherwise the case weakens.

    it's certainly a star that caught the searching cameras attention. when out of focus, a point of light will adopt the shape of the camera's iris, which is square.

    Because the original video showed that as you zoomed back out (As ASKDAN did) it turned out to be the space shuttle on re entry. In fact, a few moments later, the streak occurred and then the break up. THAT is what we call "Empirical evidence"
