@ultrabenja622 As much as I agree that David is God's gift of beauty to us all, don't be so cavalier about "the ugly, bespectacled man." He is the one that brought Doctor Who back, wrote the scripts for 4 seasons (series), and hired David in the first place. No disrespecting the hath of Davies ;D

This is another reason why I like David Tennant so much as the Doctor. He loved the show growing up, and his love for the show shined though. That, and his geekiness is awesome (I love geeks, what can I say).

@twistythingfulful It WAS original in 1963, and paved the way for things like Sapphire and Steel. It's also grown far beyond being "just" a kids' show.

Who is the "yes yes mmm yes yes" man glancing at the guy in the glasses ? He just seems hell bent on agreeing with everything he says. Doctor Who is just a kids show after all, whats the big deal? It's hardly a new concept - Totally derivative. I never got it. Unlike Sapphire and Steel, the thinking mans kids show which was totally original.
